Access to your class through Planning Center Groups is controlled through your Planning Center account.

After clicking your class, you’ll be presented with this login page.  If you already have an account, you can enter your login information here.  If its your first time (or forgot your password), click “Need a password?”

Enter your personal email or cell phone number, and you’ll receive a code that you can enter on the next page.

Finally, you can enter a new password for your Planning Center account.

Your class roster should automatically update as kids register.  Once the VBS team “assigns” them a class, they get added to your group automatically within 24 hours (along with their parent or contact who registered them). 

However, if a student is missing, you can add them using the Add member button:

From the window, you should be able to search for someone by name and add them to the group:

If you’d like to remove a student or parent from class communication, you can click the checkbox next to their name, and then the remove button:

Emailing your class through Groups is the best way to make sure your whole class stays informed.

To send email communication to your group, just click the message icon from the Members tab:

If you’d like to only send the message to certain individuals (such as students only), you can click the checkbox next to those names first, and the email will only get sent to those individuals:

If your students/parents have the Church Center app, they can recieve chat messages and files from you!

From the Church Center app, visit Groups and find your class:

From there you can click New Chat, then create a new Conversation, then compose your message:

You can also share files and links with your class that they can access through Church Center.
